Adobe Flash CS4: timelines, tutorials and other trial support

As a loyal Flash enthusiast and professional, I was looking forward to upgrading from MX to CS4. Flash, an Adobe product, allows the user to create everything from websites to interactive tutorials. As a litigation services provider, we use Flash for product demonstrations, Markman CD-ROM’s, timelines and tutorials. inData TrialDirector 5.2 Upgrade

inData’s TrialDirector, one of the premiere software applications for trial presentation and litigation support, expanded their product offering and capabilities with their latest release of version 5.2 
After extensive testing since their late-December 2008 software update, I have found that the added features in TrialDirector round out an already exceptional product. What was lacking in TrialDirector, but found in other “modded” alternatives, expands not only the capabilities of the software but the management of the information itself. For example, prior to version 5.2, a litigation support professional would need to manually code individual exhibit ID’s. This enabled the trial presentation operator to recall an image in presentation mode via a predetermined reference (i.e. P19, PTX19, etc.) versus having to type out the entire filename (i.e. PTX-0019-0001). The ability to automate exhibit numbers and associated references within TrialDirector can save hours of time when working with large databases. Read the rest of this entry »
Circuit City – a lost resource

Last week, Circuit City, a company founded over 60 years ago and the nation’s #2 consumer electronics retailer, announced that it would be ceasing its U.S. operations. For their 30,000 employees and the nation, this is a horrific economic tragedy.
